CaffreYoga Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of courses, educational materials, websites, and related services offered by CaffreYoga (“CaffreYoga,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including courses and materials made available through our Thinkific course platform.

By creating an account, purchasing or accessing a CaffreYoga course, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Educational Purpose

CaffreYoga provides educational programs, courses, resources, and materials designed primarily to support yoga teachers and others interested in developing their knowledge and teaching skills.

CaffreYoga courses and materials are provided for educational and informational purposes only. Participation in a CaffreYoga course does not guarantee any particular professional, business, financial, employment, certification, or teaching outcome.

Unless a particular program expressly states otherwise, completion of a CaffreYoga course does not constitute professional licensure or certification and does not authorize you to practice outside the scope of your existing training, qualifications, or applicable laws and regulations.

You are responsible for determining whether and how the information presented in a course is appropriate for your own teaching, students, circumstances, and professional scope of practice.

2. Account Registration and Access

You may be required to create an account to purchase or access CaffreYoga courses. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to maintain the security of your account credentials.

Your account and course access are for your individual use only. You may not share your login credentials or provide another person with access to your account or purchased course materials.

You are responsible for activity occurring through your account.

3. Purchases and Payment

Prices for courses and other products are displayed at the time of purchase and may change at any time for future purchases.

By submitting payment, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and agree to pay the stated price and any applicable taxes or fees.

Payments may be processed by Thinkific or third-party payment processors. CaffreYoga does not directly store complete payment-card information.

Promotional offers, discounts, and coupon codes may be subject to additional conditions and may be changed or discontinued at any time.

4. Refund Policy

Because CaffreYoga's self-paced digital courses provide access to digital educational content and materials upon enrollment, all purchases of digital courses are final and non-refundable once access has been provided, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

If you experience a technical problem that prevents you from accessing a course you purchased, please contact CaffreYoga so that we can make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.

CaffreYoga reserves the right to issue a refund or other accommodation in exceptional circumstances at its sole discretion. Doing so in one instance does not create an obligation to do so in other circumstances.

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer-protection laws.

5. Course Access

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, purchasing a self-paced CaffreYoga course provides you with personal access to that course for as long as the course remains available through CaffreYoga's course platform.

We may update, revise, reorganize, or improve course content over time.

Although we intend to maintain reasonable access to purchased courses, we cannot guarantee that any course or platform will remain available indefinitely. If CaffreYoga permanently discontinues a paid course, we will make reasonable efforts to provide affected customers with notice or an appropriate means of accessing relevant materials when practicable.

6. Intellectual Property

All CaffreYoga course content and materials—including, without limitation, videos, written lessons, frameworks, methods, exercises, worksheets, companion guides, graphics, photographs, recordings, downloads, presentations, and other educational materials—are owned by or licensed to CaffreYoga and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the materials for your own education and professional development.

You may apply concepts and skills learned through CaffreYoga in your own yoga teaching. However, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, upload, publicly display, or create substantially reproduced versions of CaffreYoga course materials for distribution to others.

For example, purchasing a course does not give you permission to distribute the Companion Guide to students or colleagues, upload course videos or materials elsewhere, teach or sell the CaffreYoga course itself, or reproduce CaffreYoga's proprietary educational materials as your own training program.

7. Personal and Professional Responsibility

Yoga teaching involves working with individuals whose abilities, experiences, health considerations, and circumstances vary.

Information provided by CaffreYoga is not a substitute for your own professional judgment, appropriate training, or compliance with the standards and scope of practice applicable to your work.

You remain responsible for the classes you teach, the choices you make as an instructor, and the manner in which you apply information learned through CaffreYoga.

8. Health and Medical Disclaimer

CaffreYoga educational content is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, or other licensed healthcare advice.

Nothing contained in a CaffreYoga course should be interpreted as a recommendation that you or another person disregard medical advice or use yoga practices as a substitute for appropriate medical or mental healthcare.

When working with students or clients, you are responsible for remaining within your own qualifications and scope of practice and referring individuals to appropriately qualified professionals when necessary.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use CaffreYoga's website, course platform, or materials in a way that:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been materially violated.

10. Third-Party Services

CaffreYoga uses third-party platforms and service providers to operate portions of its business, which may include Thinkific for course hosting and enrollment, payment processors for transactions, and email-service providers for communications.

Your use of those services may also be subject to the applicable provider's own terms and privacy practices.

CaffreYoga is not responsible for temporary outages, technical failures, or other circumstances caused by third-party platforms outside our reasonable control, although we will make reasonable efforts to assist customers experiencing access problems.

11. Communications

We may send you transactional or service-related communications necessary to administer your purchase or course participation, including enrollment information, account notices, course-access information, and communications related to a product or service you purchased.

Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy. Where required, you may be asked separately whether you wish to receive marketing communications, and you may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link provided in those messages.

12. Testimonials and User Content

If you voluntarily provide CaffreYoga with feedback, a testimonial, review, photograph, or other material, we will not use your name, image, or testimonial for promotional purposes without permission where such permission is required.

Any separate permission or release concerning promotional use will govern that use.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, CaffreYoga courses, materials, websites, and related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

While we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate, useful, and high-quality educational content, we do not guarantee that the materials will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every individual or circumstance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CaffreYoga will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our courses, materials, websites, or services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CaffreYoga's total liability arising from a particular purchased product or service will not exceed the amount you paid CaffreYoga for that product or service.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

15. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to CaffreYoga courses or services if you materially violate these Terms, including by sharing account access, unlawfully distributing course materials, engaging in fraudulent activity, or interfering with the operation of our services.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue before terminating access.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our courses, business practices, technology, or legal requirements.

The effective date at the top of these Terms indicates when the current version became effective. Material changes will apply prospectively as required by applicable law.

Your purchases remain subject to any rights that applicable law provides regardless of subsequent changes to these Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent that applicable consumer-protection laws provide otherwise.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
